About Kuchera's SD Guide Service

We have been offering wild pheasant hunting in South Dakota since 1972.  Located in the pheasant hunting mecca of Mitchell, SD, we have the bird numbers and experience to ensure you and your group have a wild pheasant hunt that any serious wingshooter would enjoy.

All pheasant hunting trips take place within 50 miles of Mitchell and it is very common to see 200 to 300 wild birds per day.  To ensure the safety and success of each party, our pheasant hunts are highly organized.  Mike and his guides personally guide each and every group.

No matter your circumstances, expectations, or group size, we will do everything in our power to make the planning of your trip as stress free as possible.  Large groups are more than welcome.  Our lodging is located at the Hampton Inn in Mitchell.  Th Hampton Inn is easily accessible off Interstate 90 and provides a relaxing atmosphere after an action-packed pheasant hunt.  The Hampton is also close to Cabela's, Wal-Mart, two bars, a bank, and numerous restaurants.

• International bird hunting is also available through us.  We hunt Scotland in January, New Zealand in April & May, and Hawaii in January.

A 50% deposit is required to book and confirm your hunting dates.
